America: There was a sudden commotion at Kentucky State University on Tuesday afternoon due to the sounds of loud running and sirens. Within minutes, news spread that there had been firing on campus. According to the police, one person died in the incident, while another is fighting for his life. The suspect who was suspected was caught by the police on the spot. The entire campus was immediately closed, due to which fear was clearly visible among the students.

No one knows exactly where the firing took place

The incident took place on the university campus in Frankfort, but it is not yet clear in which part the shooting took place. Many students remained hidden in buildings and families kept calling in panic. There was no immediate response from the administration and campus police, which further increased people's concerns.

Police had received information about an 'active attacker'

Frankfort Police said they had received a report of an active shooter. The team immediately reached the campus and controlled the situation. Officials said complete details of the incident will be shared in a press conference to be held in the evening. At present they are only saying that the danger has been averted.

Governor Beshear said, "Pray for all those affected"

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear wrote on social media that the suspect has been arrested and that the state administration will release him as soon as concrete information is received. He also asked everyone to pray for the victims and their families during this difficult time. Reading his message, it is clearly felt that the incident is not just news but an accident that shakes the entire community.

Questions again on campus security, atmosphere of fear among students

The increasing shootings in America's schools and colleges make this incident more serious. Like every time, this time too, questions are being raised as to how long the students will continue to feel in danger. Many students living on campus said that they always live in fear that such an incident could happen anywhere.

The historic university built in 1886 is in shock

Kentucky State University, which was founded for historically Black students, is generally considered a quiet campus. About 2,200 students study here. Today the atmosphere there had completely changed. People were not able to understand how their campus, which was considered safe, suddenly became the center of such an incident.

Now everyone's eyes are on the police briefing, because only that will tell why this attack happened and whether it could have been avoided.
